Limit the intake of red meat and fats:
Red meat contains saturated fats that are responsible for obesity and increasing the amount of fats within the body. These factors trigger the growth of cancer causing cells called as oncogenes. Reduce the amount of fats in your daily diet. As compared to poultry and fish red meat contains more amounts of fats.

Consume fresh fruits and vegetables:

You should also try to avoid secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke inhaled from the lit cigarette or a smoker is also very injurious to health.
Minimize intake of alcohol:
Alcohol consumption also increases the risk factors for causing cancer, so limit the consumption of alcohol. It suppresses the immunity of person that may bring unwanted changes within the cells of a person. Men should not have more than two drinks a day and women should not have more than one drink a day.
Exercising for cancer:
The American Cancer Society recommends that daily exercise of about 30 to 35 minutes helps in improving health and fight against many cancer causing factors. Your daily exercise should include yoga, walking, jogging, swimming, playing sports, etc.
