  • The moment you spawn, don’t think twice before throwing a stun grenade or a flash bang
  • When you get killed, tell everyone who killed you that they were lucky and you shall get back hard
  • If someone is truly mad and furious at you, then annoy him or her more by repeating exactly what he or she says in an irritating, mocking and high-pitched voice.

  • Keep saying “yo mamma” throughout the game. It will really annoy fellow gamers
  • If they tell you to keep your mouth shut, do that and do not utter a word for a long time. And when they get irritated and tell you to reply, u say, “you told me to be a quiet freak, you punk”. It will drive your fellow gamer crazy
  • Be innovative and keep talking smack until the game is over or they have had enough

Warnings

  • Always keep in mind, after you have learned how to smack and going great guns, that your talk only your teammate can hear, unless an enemy has the special perk to eavesdrop, which is almost never used

4.Tension

If you suffer from hypertension please consult your doctor. Stress and tension are the main reason for dementia.

5.Mental health

Just like your body needs exercise to function properly, your brain also needs some exercise. Games like chess, puzzle, playing a musical instrument, scramble, etc. are good brain exercises. A study by Mayo Clinic claims that engaging in computer activities, crafting and the likes have led to a 30 to 40 % reduction in dementia cases.

6. Having goals in life, achieving them, developing a self esteem and respect in society keep you far away from dementia. Such respect and recognition tends to build up a positive feeling and confidence in oneself, which again dismisses the fear of dementia.

The key to a healthy brain is a healthy diet, healthy lifestyle and no stress. If you manage to follow these simple instructions you need not fear Dementia.

He could indulge into activities like drugs and alcohol consumption if the issue is not resolved at a proper time. This article will give you some simple tips on how to prevent bullying.

Bullying should be discouraged. It should be strictly abandoned. Usually if people notice someone being bullied on a playground, in a park or any place, they tend to stay way from it or just have fun watching them. This encourages bullying. If peers, classmates, passersby take a stand against it this act can be condemned. Bullying is not restricted to schools or small kids. It occurs at the workplace also. Can you work in an office where bullying is tolerated? Your co worker or your senior can bully you, threaten you, trouble you and tease you.  Will you be able to work there? The answer is a big ‘No’! So, bullying should be discouraged totally.

Firstly, your personality is very important for this. Personality doesn’t mean you have to be 6 feet tall or have a good body.  Rather than your body posture, your communication and your eye contact will serve the purpose. If you depict that you are afraid, higher are the chances of you getting bullied. Be confident in your actions and speech. Voice against such incidents. Do not let the world feel that you can be easily bullied.

Besides, here are some simple suggestions to prevent bullying in schools or for amongst kids:

  1. If your child complains about any such bullying incident, do not just avoid it. Take it seriously. If you fail to do so your child will never again be able to come and talk to you about it.
  2. Build up confidence in your child. Let him or her feel that you will support him or her to fight against bullying.
  3. Communicate with the child’s teacher, caregiver, and parents. Try to solve the problem, but do not indulge in violence against the one who is bullying.
  4. Try to find out how the bullied child is treated by his friends, colleagues and so on.
  5. Teach the child to be strong, teach him to say “NO” to such situations without being aggressive.
  6. Teach the child to manage bullying; either by walking away, avoiding, or fighting back.
  7. Encourage your child to help other children suffering in a similar situation.
  8. Also tell your child that you will not accept any kind of bullying behavior. If your child does so, speak to him, his teachers and also punish if necessary.
  9. As far as possible do not threaten your child, do not force him or her. This leads to developing a bullying behavior in your child.
  10. Tell your child to participate in activities and workshops held against such behavior.
  11. Schools should take proper initiatives against this. The staff should keep an eye on the children during the breaks, when on playground and so on. Schools should have strict laws against bullying.

In this way bullying can be fought with easily. After all it is not a world war. It just needs an initiative and the confidence to discourage such behavior.

How to Take Care of Poinsettia

Poinsettias are one of the most famous holiday flowers. All the hybridizers have expanded the range of colors from the common red pastel color to some vibrant bi-colors. One of the most common questions that people ask after Christmas is how to take care of poinsettia? This can be done easily, but the plant is fussy and this means that you will have to devote a lot of your time.

For those of you who are undaunted and want to take care of their poinsettia, here are some simple steps on the flower’s care.
How to Take Care of Poinsettia
When you bring poinsettia home

  • You will have to keep the plant near a sunny window. Prefer keeping it on the south, west or east-facing windows, avoid keeping it on the north-facing window. Remember that poinsettias are tropical flowers and they will love direct sunlight as much as you can give them.
  • If you want to keep the poinsettia in full bloom then you must try to maintain a temperature of 65-75 degrees F during daytime. If you drop the temperature below 60 F in the night then it will not harm the plant. However, if you allow the leaves to touch the cold window then it can harm the plant and will lead to premature leaf drop. If you happen to see a gangly poinsettia in bloom, with few sad looking leaves hanging on it, then this means that it was exposed to cold temperature.
  • Water the plant whenever you notice that the surface is dry. Water the plant until it drains completely out of the bottom, but make sure that the plant does not sit in the water. Wilting is one of the reasons for leaf drop. Remember that a wilted plant can be salvaged and revived, but you will have to wait for another season to improve its appearance.

After Christmas Care

  • January to March: Continuously keep watering the plants whenever you notice that the surface is dry.
  • April: Starting from April, reduce the water, allowing the plant to get dry between the watering. During this time, you will have to be very careful to make sure that the stem does not shrivel. Shriveling means that the plant is stressed and it about to die. Between two weeks, when the plants get acclimated to the drying process, shift it to a cooler place. You must keep the plant at 60 degrees F.
  • May: Mid-May, start cutting the stems up to four inches and repot the plant in a larger container, with good potting soil and keep watering the plant properly. Place this newly potted plant at the brightest window and the temperature should be 65-75 degrees F. Continue watering whenever you feel that the plant is dry. Watch the plant for some new growth. Once you notice the new growth, start fertilizing every two weeks with a good fertilizer. You will have to follow the fertilizer label instructions.
  • June: Move the poinsettia plant outside and keep it in a place with partial shade. Follow the fertilizing and watering schedule regularly.
  • July: In this month, you will have to pinch every stem by nearly one inch. This is for encouraging stout and for well-branched plant.
  • August: By this month, the stem would have started to branch out and new leaves will appear. Once again, you will have to pinch the stems, leaving at least three-four leaves on every shoot. Get the plant indoors now and place it in the brightest window. Continue the cycle of fertilizing and watering.
  • September: Continue with the process of fertilizing and watering. Always make sure that the temperature is at least above 65 degrees F.
  • October: Remember that poinsettias are short day plants, which means that their bud set is affected with the length of the daylight. For re-blooming, poinsettias will need 10 weeks with nearly 12 hours or less sunlight everyday. You will have to create all these conditions artificially and it is important that you are diligent.
  • Starting October 1st, take your plant and keep it in complete darkness from 5pm to 8pm. If there is any exposure to light then it will delay blooming. For this, you will have to use an opaque box or some kind of material for blocking the light. Most of the people will keep their plants in the closest, but if somehow, light enters or you open the closest several times, then it will definitely affect the bud set. During the daytime move the plant in the sunny window and continue watering and fertilizing.
  • November: During the last week of November, you will have to stop the darkness treatment and allow the plant to sit at the window. You must use the flower buds during this point.
  • December: During mid-December, stop fertilizing the plant. Continue watering and take care of the plant just like the way you did when you first got the plant. If everything has gone well, the plant will be back in bloom and ready for the process all over again.

Now, go ahead and take care of your favorite holiday plant.

How to Take Care of Guinea Pigs

Guinea pigs are the best pets for kids who are responsible enough to take care of themselves and a pet properly. Guinea pigs are very gentle, they rarely bite and they love attention. Taking care of these adorable pets is not tough, but it is still important to learn how to take care of guinea pigs before you decide to go and buy one. Here are some simple steps on guinea pig care.

Social Animals

  • Guinea pig are social, which means they love being with other guinea pigs. Try not to leave your guinea pig all by itself. They will do much better if there are two or more together. The best method to do this is to keep two or more female guinea pigs together. Male guinea pigs tend to fight with each other, so avoid keeping more than one male together. Guinea pigs can start breeding immediately and since there are already many guinea pigs looking for home, do not keep male and female pigs together.

How to Take Care of Guinea Pigs
Commitment

  • Taking care of any pet is a commitment and guinea pigs have a long life. They can live for nine years. If you think that your child may get bored of guinea pigs after a few weeks, then you must consider a foster home from the local shelter. If your child has proven that he will continue to take care of the pigs and will not lose interest, then you can keep them as permanent pets. Probably you can adopt the piggies whom you are fostering.

Cage

  • Most of the people will never realize how much room a guinea pig will need. Guinea pigs need a lot of room and you will have to get them a cage of four square feet of floor space for every piggy you own. The cage has to be well ventilated and should have a solid bottom. Keep a box inside the cage for the pigs to go in, because sometimes they need a safe place to hide.

Food and Cage Cleaning

  • Soiled or wet bedding should be cleaned everyday from the cage. Remove the entire bedding every week and wash the bottom of the cage properly. Rinse and dry the bottom of the cage before you replace it with new bedding. Give fresh food and water everyday to your piggies.
  • For food, you should give them a variety of things like pig pellets, fresh fruits, vegetables and timothy hay. Remember that guinea pigs will need vitamin C, so make sure that you give them small pieces of strawberry or orange, which is rich in vitamin C. Make sure that you get rid of the leftover fruits and vegetables from the cage, so that the pigs don’t eat any rotten food. Guinea pigs will need something to gnaw on, because their teeth continue to grow throughout their life. A small piece of wood will work fine as long as there is no chemical on it. You can also get some chew blocks from the local pet store.

Handling Guinea Pigs

  • It is very important that you are careful while handling the pigs. Remember that they will not be able to catch themselves if they fall down and can get easily injured. Always use both your hands and make sure that you support them from the bottom while you are picking them up. Once you pick them up, hold them close to your body while you are carrying them. Always remember never to hold a guinea pig on the back, because this position makes it difficult for them to breathe and they can suffocate and die.

Adopt a Guinea Pig

  • Before you head to the local pet store or breeder for buying a guinea pig, check with the local rescue shelters if they have guinea pigs. Unfortunately, maximum guinea pigs always end up in shelter because their owners give them up or they are rescued from the pig mill. By adopting a guinea pig from a shelter you are given them another chance to be loved and give them a home.

So, now you know how to take care of guinea pig. Go ahead and adopt one.

How to Take Care of Blackhead

Your skin is like your protector. One of its main functions is to keep away the bacteria, foreign particles and other things, which can harm your skin. If your skin is not healthy then it means that there is one of these things on your skin. Your skin will start producing more oil to make a barrier for keeping away things that can harm your skin more. The usual skin problem is acne or blackhead and you must know how to take care of blackheads.

Blackheads can be very frustrating, they can appear anywhere on the body and are rich in oily glands. Here are some simple steps on how to take care of blackheads.
How to Take Care of Blackhead
Things Required:

  • Nose strips
  • Soap
  • Facial scrub
  • Black head removing tool
  • Oil-free moisturizer

Nose Strip Method

  • Start with wetting your nose with a clean wet face cloth and then you can dry your hands. Open the nose strip packet, which contains the nose strips and remove the little tabs so that it fits properly on your nose. Place the sticky side on the nose, wet the strap and wait for nearly ten minutes. After ten minutes, the nose strip will become dry and then you can remove it.

Removing tool

  • Take a wide bowl and fill it with water, but make sure that the water is not boiling. Place your head above the bowl, so that you can face the steam. Empty the bowl and start cleaning with water and soap. Now, you can proceed to use the blackhead removal tool and be careful. [KG1]

Facial Scrub Method

  • First, wash your face and rinse your face with normal water. Do not bother to dry your face just leave it like that. Now, take a quarter sized amount of your scrub and start lathering it with your hands. Start massaging your face with this for exfoliating your skin. Rinse your face and repeat if required.

Steaming Method

  • You will be familiar with this method for treating colds. However, it is very effective for treating blackheads as well. Start boiling a pot of water and add some lemon in it. Take a towel and throw it over your head so that it covers the pot, let the steam stay inside, lean over the pot and take deep breaths.  You will have to do this for only five minutes, until you feel your face is wet from steam and perspiration. This steam process will help in opening the pores of your skin.
  • At this time, take a cotton pad and move it over your skin for dislodging the blackheads. Now, add some cold water in it, so that the water is hot and not boiling, so that you can apply it on the affected areas. Wet your cotton pad, wring it out and press your blackhead areas with this pad. During this whole process make sure that your cotton pad is hot and be careful that you don’t accidentally burn yourself. Cleanse your face after you are done with this method.

Waxing

  • This method is not heard of, but it is definitely a myth that blackheads will grow back when you wax them. Just ask the beautician to wax your nose and all the other places affected with blackheads. Most of the beauticians will know about this.

Home Remedies

  • Take a little almond powder or oatmeal and make a paste with rose water. Rub this mixture gently on your face, leave it on your face for the next 15 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water.
  • Take a little honey, warm it and apply it on the blackheads. Leave this on your face for 15 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water. Another thing you can try is applying lemon juice on your nose twice or thrice a day.
  • Make a mixture of fenugreek leaves, apply this on the affected area, leave it for 15 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.
  • Try a mixture of lemon juice and rose water. Leave this on your face for 15 minutes and wash your face with normal water.
  • Take some mint juice and mix it with turmeric powder, apply this mixture on the blackhead-affected area, allow it to stay for 15 minutes and after that wash with lukewarm water.

Tips and Warnings:

  • The primary cause of blackhead is an impure skin. When you fail to clean your skin properly, dead cells will start accumulating and this will block the pore openings. However, make sure that you do not over scrub or over cleanse your skin because this will cause irritation in your skin.
  • Always remove your make-up before going to bed. Remember that foundations and moisturizers are known to block the pores, which results in blackheads.
  • Use a good skin exfoliant for cleaning your skin and removing the dead cells. If you are using nose strips then be careful with those, because if you pull them too hard then it can cause spider veins on your nose.
  • If you are suffering from severe acne, then do not use the facial scrub. It will rub off the zit and spread the acne all over. If you have sensitive skin then it will cause redness and irritation. Therefore, always use them carefully.

How to Take Care of a Tomato Plant

Many people love to grow tomatoes in their house garden. They like it because they have easy access to fresh tomatoes and others like to grow it for the decoration purpose. The bright red color tomatoes hanging in your garden will definitely enhance the beauty of the landscape. It is one of the short lived perennial plants and you can find them in hundred different varieties. Every species of the plant has its own different shape, color and size. However, in spite of this you will have to learn how to take care of a tomato plant.

Here are some simple steps on how to take care of a tomato plant.
How to Take Care of a Tomato Plant
Soil Preparation

  • Tomato plant likes full sun. Therefore, you will have to plant it in such a location where it gets good midday sun. These plants need a soil, which is rich in nutrients for their proper growth. Remember that the soil where you plant these seedlings must not have any debris like roots, weeds or rocks.
  • The pH value of the soil should always be maintained in the range of 55.5 to 66.2 F . Another important thing is that the soil must be well drained and loose. A few days prior to the planting, you will have to prepare the soil by adding a large amount of peat moss and compost. For enriching the soil further, you will also have to add some fertilizer to it. Once this treatment is done, the soil will look darker in color.

Weather Condition

  • Having the right weather is the most integral part for growing tomato plant. The temperature during the day should be between 70 and 75 degrees F and during the night the temperature should be 60 degrees F. If the night temperature happens to go below it, then the plant will bear only few fruits. The ideal time to plant this crop is during mid May after the date of last frost is over.

Planting

  • For planting, start digging a deep hole in the soil you have prepared, so that the first leaves of the stem of the seedling come on the same level as the soil. Now, keep the young plant inside the hole, start refilling the soil inside the spoil and pat the soil properly around it. Remember that you will have to keep a gap of 12 to 15 inches between each seedling. Once you are done with this, water the plant immediately along with some diluted liquid fertilizer.

Mulching

  • You will have to regularly mulch your tomato plant. It will help the soil in retaining moisture and will let the temperature of the soil be uniform. It will also prevent the growth of weeds. Initially, you can use a black plastic bag for the mulching purpose. When the soil starts to warm up, then you can start using the organic mulch, which consists of dried leaves, hay, grass clippings, etc. Remember that you must always spread generous amount of mulch, so that it evenly covers the soil.

Watering

  • Your tomato plant will receive sun the entire day. This means that the soil will dry quickly, so you will have to water the plant frequently. You cannot afford to let the soil dry up completely. For the initial two weeks you will have to water the plant daily. Later, you can cut down the frequency to twice a week. Soak the soil completely nearly up to six to eight inches twice in a week. However, remember that once the plant starts bearing fruits, make sure that you never soak the water because the tomatoes may loose their sweetness.

Fertilizing

  • A tomato plant will need many nutrients and so you will have to fertilize them from time to time. For improving the plant health and blossoming, you will have to use a 5-3-4 fertilizer for regular nitrogen requirement, potassium and phosphorous. Once it starts blossoming, it will need a fertilizer that is rich in phosphorous.
  • At this time, you will have to avoid fertilizers rich in nitrogen, as this will not help in fruit growth. From June to August, you must give a liquid fertilizer that is rich in potash at least twice in a month. This is very important for the plant when it starts to wilt. You can also use a slow-release granular fertilizer for regular supply of nutrients.

Support

  • As the size of the plant continues to grow, you will have to give adequate support for supporting its stalk. The only reason for doing this is protecting the tomatoes from coming in contact with the soil. Thus, the fruits will be clean and they will never get affected by the soil-borne insects and worms.

How to Take Care of a Guppy Fish

Guppy fish is one of the most popular freshwater aquarium fish and they are very beautiful. The colorful looks of this fish attracts many people and they eventually breed them in the aquariums. The male guppies are more attractive as compared to the female guppies. They come in variety of colors and have fancy patterns. Breeding, looking after the fish and learning how to take care of a guppy fish is not a tough task.

So, if you are planning to get a guppy fish, here some tips on guppy care.
How to Take Care of a Guppy Fish
Fish Tank

  • First, you will have to arrange for a suitable fish tank or aquarium, because this is one of the most important aspects of guppy fish care. Guppy aquarium fish have a specific water and tank requirement, which is very important for their health and well-being. They will require at least a ten-gallon tank or a ten-gallon aquarium, even if you get baby guppies.
  • Once the fish grows up, they will need that much space. If you are planning to buy another tank and shifting them once they grow older, then a five-gallon tank will be enough. Remember that you must consider the number of guppies you will be keeping in the tank before you buy one. If you do not want to breed the female and male guppies but still want to keep both, then you will have to keep them in separate tanks.

Tank Maintenance

  • Always remember that maintaining and cleaning the guppy fish tank is essential for their health. You will have to maintain the aquarium temperature from 75 degrees to 84 degrees F, depending on the external temperature. Also, you will need a light source to be kept on the inside the tank and you must keep it for 12 hours everyday.
  • Clean the water every week by removing 20 percent of the aquarium water and adding clean and fresh water. Remember to remove the water from the base of the tank as well to get rid of the debris.  Try to install a siphon inside the aquarium so that you can get rid of the debris. Another important thing is maintaining the pH level of the tank water. Remember that it should be around 7.0 to 7.2 and you can also use the tools that are available at the local pet stores.

Fish Food

  • Remember that guppies need food, which is high in proteins and also baby brine shrimp is not their favorite so never feed them those. You must give them small amount of food thrice a day, but make sure that you do not overfeed them. Give them flake food, brine eggs, white worms, mosquito larvae or frozen dried plankton. All these food items will help in promoting healthy growth of the guppies and ensure that the food inside the tank has been consumed before you feed them again.

Guppy Fry Care

  • Guppy fry care is only essential if you breed your guppy fish. Firstly, you must arrange for a separate tank where the fry can grow properly. After the fry is out, immediately move them into a separate tank and add little aquarium water and debris inside it. Remember to clean the tank every week so that the fry can grow in a healthy manner. For feeding, you can give the fry some baby brine shrimp or dry food, but make sure that you do not overfeed them. Once they are eight to ten weeks old then you can shift them in separate tanks.

So, this was everything about the guppy fish care. Look after the fish properly to make sure that they have a healthy and long life.
