How to Be Fresh

Energy is something like time, which everyone will have only a limited supply of. However, unlike time you can do some things to get the energy back, which will allow you to feel fresh and energetic everyday and all day long. There are many areas of life where you need to pay attention so that you feel fresh everyday. Here are some simple steps on how to be fresh.

  • Get a good night’s sleep

You can take all the potions and pills available in this world for deceiving your tired brain, but you will have to look after the basics so that you feel fresh everyday. If you get a good sleep at night, then this will ensure that you are energetic for the rest of the day. Take a nice long shower but you go to sleep just to wash away all the stress of the day, and then you can head to sleep.

  • Soothe yourself

The jarring siren of your alarm clock or the excited radio jockey is not one of the best things to jolt you in the world awake. Try setting your stereo with a soothing CD, like an alarm and wake to some of the soothing melodies or vocals. If you want then you can set the stereo to some of your favorite songs and wake up feeling good.

  • Develop an exercise routine

Be it pilates, yoga, walk around the neighborhood or a gym session, you must always try to start your day with pumping the blood. It can be really hard to force yourself out of that warm cocoon of your blanket on cold and dark mornings, but the endomorphine rush in your body will make you feel good. If you are not a morning person, then consider working out in the afternoon or evening.

  • Eat right

You must have been told since childhood about the importance of healthy food in your diet. If you want to feel fresh all day, then you will have to include proteins, vegetables, fruits and some sugary foods in your diet everyday. Remember that bananas are good for energy, because they are high in enzymes and potassium. Make sure that you drink plenty of water everyday. Always remember that drinking water does not include it from tea, coffee or carbonated cola drinks. You must have your share of plain water everyday.

  • Stop looking like you have got something to hide

Now, this goes for all the ladies, you will have to minimize all your heavy make-up and have a more fresh and youthful look. Always remember that make-up is not a mask that you need to wear everyday for covering something up. Always try to be proactive about your skin treatments, so that you do not have to cover it up. Try to eat a balanced diet, get a daily cleansing routine done, protect your skin from sun and stay well hydrated.

  • Live right

Along with sleeping and eating right, if you really want to feel fresh each day you will have to do something more as well. You will have to get plenty of exercise done and cut down on the stress, which you can do with meditation and breathing exercises. Nothing will sap your energy like stress can. You can try other things for feeling fresh like music, power naps and most importantly breathing exercises. Always remember that energy will always create more energy, so if you are feeling dull just get up and start walking around and you will feel fresh.

  • Eat a rainbow

You must have a rainbow of food everyday. You will have to mix up five kinds of fresh fruits or vegetables everyday in the colors of blue, green, white, red and yellow. Try eating blueberries, bananas, celery, tomatoes and pumpkin. Remember, you are what you eat so it will make sense if you are going in for some healthy food because then you will naturally have a fresh glow on the outside as well.
