- To get a job in some leading salons around the globe, you need to get a license in cosmetology. During your training process, you can also learn other beauty services like nail, skin and hair if you want to get many offers for the make-up industry.
- To gain experience you can try to get a job at the sales job for make-up. Go for a company, which also teaches make-up application and not just sales. Always stay updated with the latest trends and the famous products in the make-up industry. It will increase your knowledge about beauty trends.
- You can also start with being an assistant to a top make-up artist in the industry. You do not have to go to Hollywood or bollywood and look for a job you can assist any famous local artist. Initially start working for whatever you get you will slowly make your way to being the top artist.
- Keep on reading style magazines, watch videos of the professional make-up artists on techniques of application. To start with, you can practice it on your close friends and family members. You can provide free make-up facility to brides, local theatre actors this will increase your experience. When you start on your own, introduce discounts on various services.
