The loss of entire body mass, in the context of physical fitness, health, and medicine, in regard of loss of body fat, fluid, adipose tissue or lean mass, muscles, tendon, bone mineral deposits, and other connective tissue, is termed as weight loss. Weight loss can be unintentional sometimes, it can occur due to some disease or from a conscious effort to recover a definite overweight state. Weight loss, which is done in context to improve body fitness and health, to change looks is termed as intentional weight loss.
Weight loss in individual, done by therapist, can reduce some diseases like, heart diseases, obesity, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, stroke and particular types of cancer. Diet control can be tremendously useful to control diabetes and other diseases.
When there are many negative energies around an individual, they tend to lose more weight. When body consumes more energy, (in work and heat), instead of gaining it from food or other nutritional source, it would gradually lose weight as it will start using stored reserves from muscles and fat.

Instructions:
- Losing weight is all about burning up calories than to take it, so conclude your daily intake of calories.
- Keep a notebook with you and note down every meal you having. Keep track of all calories you taking in, such as snacks, drinks, butter, and sugar.
- Count the calories you taking, consult with your nutritionist, they can guide you what to eat or what not to eat. If you reduce 4 to 5 hundred calories from your meal, you will lose a pound of fat per week.
- Check out your food list, and decide what food you want to cut out from the list. Replace your “coffee” with “black coffee” as it will cut one pound of your weight in a week.
- Decrease the amount of soda, mayonnaise from your diet. You can switch on healthier food. Drink lots of water, you can use mustard sauce instead of mayo. Mustard sauce is low in fat.
- You can have fish and chicken in place of beef, pork as both contain low fat. Fish such as sardines, salmon, and tuna, are rich source of antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids.
- Avoid side dishes such as macaroni, potato salad, cheese, French fries. These foods contain lots of fat and calories so avoid them. Eat fresh vegetables, fruits, salads.
- For breakfast you can have yogurt, oatmeal, cereals, high fibers, fruit juice or fruits. Never skip your breakfast as it increases your metabolism rate and reduce the chance of over eating at lunch.
- Eat healthy and balance diet, make list of healthy meals or you will end up eating lots of calories by different foods. Cut out snacks totally from your diet, have Dal, chappati, green leafy vegetable, fruit or fruit juice, avoid dessert.
- Avoid sodas, cold drinks and drink as much water as you can. Eat fiber as fibers are good for digestions
- If you want to maintain your fitness then you will have to exercise. Do physical activities such as jogging, dancing, workout, aerobics, etc. Try to spare time for aerobics for at least 20 to 40 minutes per day. Exercise helps to reduce lots of calories from body.
- Give proper rest to your body, good sleep is very important for the body. Sleep for at least 8 hours, good sleep also helps to reduce weight.
- Be confident about yourself and have self motivation. If you want to lose weight, stick to your diet and workout, and imagine how you will look after becoming thin.
