How to Clean Rust

Rust is the general word used for the iron oxides, mostly for red oxides, which is formed by the reaction of oxygen and water in the presence of air moisture and water. There are many types of rust that can be easily distinguished and they are formed under different situations. ‘Rusting’ is the common word used for corrosion of the alloys and iron, like steel. A few other metals also undergo the process of corrosion but they are not termed as rust. If a particular alloy is given water, oxygen and time, then it will completely turn into rust and start disintegrating. The formation of rust can be controlled by paint, which completely isolates the iron from the atmosphere. The most simple and cheap way to take out rust from the surface of steel is by rubbing a wet aluminum foil on the steel. The aluminum foil is softer and does not make any scratches on the steel.

Removing rust stains is not that difficult. Here are some simple steps on how to remove rust.
