Cube Steak is also known as minute steak. It is the meat obtained from the butt portion of cow, tenderized with the help of a steak machine. The meat usually is cut from the top round or the top sirloin. Hence, this is used as a primary ingredient by many cooks in making special dishes. Soup of cube steak:
This recipe is good to serve about four people. The key ingredients of this recipe are eight cube steaks, cream of mushroom soup or can of celery soup. You should add 2 medium onions, half a cup of catsup, half cup water, half tablespoon pepper, half a teaspoon of salt and two tablespoons of oil to the ingredients.
Method:
Use salt and pepper to season the meat. Place a pan on the gas and heat some oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add meat and onions to it. Once the onions are brown enough, add the water, catsup and the soup and stir. Cover it with a pan and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes. Serve your soups with either french or garlic bread.

This is s great recipe for beginners to learn to cook cube steak. For cooking this you will need, six cube steaks, a few hash brown potatoes, and 5 tablespoons of cheddar cheese shredded. The other ingredients that you will need are two tablespoons of shortening, half teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of catsup.

Place a pan on the gas and heat some oil in it. Now deep fry the potatoes for about three to four minutes and then set it aside. Heat the skillet over medium flame. Then add to this the shortening. Put the meat in it and cook for around 6 minutes on every side separately. Now, remove the beef and put it on a plate. Spray some salt and apply catsup on the meat. Add cheese and the hash browns on top of the meat. Put this back into the skillet and keep heating until the cheese melts. Once it does, serve it immediately.
Grande of cube steak:
This recipe will serve about three people. You will require 3 sliced onions, a cup of flour and of course two medium cube steaks. To make the sauce, you will require two tablespoons of vinegar (apple cider), a tablespoon full of olive oil and half a cup of Worcestershire sauce.
Method:
Use the olive oil to grease the baking dish. Preheat the oven to about 375 degrees F. Use flour to coat the meat. Now place the beef cuts in a dish and add onions on the top. Sprinkle the meat and onions with salt and pepper. Set the dish in the oven and let it bake for about an hour. Add vinegar and the sauce. Heat the dish again for about 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
