The most common form of garden is a residential garden. All the western gardens are based on plants. Zoos that had a display of animals with natural habitats were known as zoological garden. The term ‘garden’ means enclosure. In British English, this term means an enclosed area of land, which adjoins a building. In American English, it is referred as yard.
Many gardens are for ornamental purposes and others for food crops. Food gardens are very different from ornamental gardens in various ways. How to create a Fairy Garden

Things Required:
• Land (with 6 hours of sun light)
• Bricks, wood edging, stones
• Herbs
• Flowers
• Top soil
• Fairy figurines (if required)
• Fairy furniture (if required)
• Gravel for pathways (if required)
Steps:
• Choose a place in the corner for a garden and make a small bed in your yard. It should not be big. Always keep in mind that the flowers and herbs need at least 6 hours of sunlight everyday.
• Make raised beds for the herbs, with the help of bricks, wood edging or wood. Fill this area with top soil. Sketch the plant design on a piece of paper.
• Start planting and begin with fairy roses. These pink fairy roses will last the entire growing season. These flowers are disease resistant and sturdy. They need support while growing up, you will have to put some small trellis, which will grow in poor soil and can bear some neglect.

• In the corner of your garden, plant some violets. It was said that fairy queen treasures the violets in a very sacred way.
• Every fairy garden must have lavender. Without the purple blossoms, there will be no grace in your fairyland.
• To give your garden a look of tiny village, you can make pathways with tiny pebbles. Add some fairy furniture. You can also place some fairy figurines to give it a lively effect.
