The term lifestyle was discovered by ‘Austrian’ psychologist ‘Alfred Adler’ in year 1929. In sociology, lifestyle is defined as the way an individual lives. Lifestyle is a ‘characteristic bunch’ of behaviors, including social relationships, expenditure, activity and dress. The practices and deeds of lifestyles are a combination of a way of life, conservative ways of performing things and rational actions.
A lifestyle often replicates an individual’s behaviors, values, worldview, and attitude. Therefore, a lifestyle is a medium of forming a sense of self, and to form cultural icons that vibrate the identity of an individual. Society and technical systems can restrain the lifestyle choices available to the person and the symbols they are able to assign to others and to self.
The position between ‘individuality’ and the ‘routine activities’ which signal, a specific lifestyle blurred in modern society. For example, ‘green lifestyle’, which means supporting values and executing actions which devour some resources and generate less injurious waste, such as ‘carbon footprint’, and obtaining a sense of self from supporting these values and executing these actions. If you want to create a ‘healthy lifestyle’, then just follow the following simple steps.

Instructions:
Diet:
- If you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle, then you will have to follow a strict ‘Diet’. It is a fact that without diet, you won’t be able to loose weight. You can follow the low ‘carbohydrate diets’, which means you should not eat fatty foods and cut down on carbohydrate and this will help you to loose, weight rapidly.
- The disadvantages of these kinds of diet are that when you go off the diet and start having normal food, you will start gaining weight again. The carbohydrate diet is the only diet which is actually good for your heart. The next diet which you can try is ‘vegetarian diet’, which is a good diet to loose weight. While dieting makes sure that you replace your protein (while dieting body lacks proteins) by taking enough vitamins and don’t fall short of any nutrients.
- The best way to loose weight is to check for your calories and fat consumptions. If you have one meal a day, that would the best way for you letting your body to burn each and every meal you consume instead of storing it and letting it turn into fat.
Exercise:
- This is hard to start and hardest to be faithful to. For exercise, first of all warm up your body, start a walking program for more than 20 minutes a day. Then you can workout with dumbbells of 2 to 6 pound and start doing regular workout. You can search for proper exercise details on the internet and pick one which you think is suitable for you. Working out will keep your muscles toned and flexible.
- Sweating helps to remove the toxins from your body which can cause cancer. Working out also helps your heart, which consists of the most important muscles of your body. Exercise helps to keeps your blood vessels open and clean. If you do not exercise, your body starts to ‘deteriorate’ while you grow older. Therefore, exercise is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep your body fit.
Your will power:
- To keep up with both ‘dieting’ and ‘working out’ you will have to take control over one thing, and that is on your ‘will power’. Your will is what controls your mind, it says what to do and what not to do.
- To take control over your will, you will have to find ways to keep you focused, such as posting positive notes on you wall or work desk. There are several ways to keep your will focused. First of all, train you mind to get rid of all negative thoughts which stop you from exercising and dieting, that is the easiest way to find happiness and healthier lifestyle.
- You can post pictures of you when you started your weight loosing program. Then after that post the pictures of yourself after you have been on your weight loosing program for more than a month. Once you start noticing all the positive results of your diet program, it will be easy for you to do all three steps to have a healthy lifestyle.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
