The superhero universe is the common fictional universe, in which plenty of comic book titles are published by superhero comics, consisting of the most familiar characters, such as the Hulk, Spiderman, the X-men, and Captain America.
The superhero universe is further portrayed as presented inside a ‘multiverse’ consisting of millions of the separate universes, which are created by the Superhero Comics and in other words, Superhero Universe. - First of all, decide the rules of the game. Every superhero universe requires order. When you are creating characters, who are most expected break the vital laws of physics, it may seem unusual to set up rules. However, rules help to maintain definite integrity in the universe.
- By setting up rules, you will form a compact groundwork that will help the story to stay grounded. Examples of rules contain restrictive use of the power of your character, threatening dead characters from stimulating or restricting what magic can complete.
- Now make a layout of your locations. The superhero “universe” should focus on a crime-ridden city or distant solar systems. If you pick locations that subsist in real life, then you will have to research them. Readers well-informed about these regions will be alert for mistakes.
- Set up your protagonist. In the superhero universe, you are allowed to create several protagonists, and they do not always need to be integrally personified. They can also be dark anti-heroes or vivacious superhero wannabes.
- Make antagonists for your universe. Every story has to have conflict. The protagonist of your universe should be confronted by an antagonist. An antagonist may be a super-villain or a simple competitor. The antagonist doesn’t even require a character. It can be an organization, an aspect of nature or even the insecurities of the protagonist.
- Now, you will have to make supporting characters. Superheroes require common people to save, bad characters require civilians to torture and everyone could use a good assistant. If you create supporting characters, it will make your universe seem more complex.
- Create a back story. You must know the stories of the characters, what they are doing in universe and what do they think of themselves, and their ambitions in life and their deepest secrets. Back stories are not restricted to characters. Producing back stories for your universes can add prosperity to your story. You will not essentially exercise the back story in the universe story. Your back story is subsequently for you, the writer, will know the characters better.
- Create plot for your superhero universe. First of all, start with a common idea of where you would like your story to go. Consider both long and temporary conflicts, which the characters will face. You can be an impulsive writer, who does not scheme ahead of time, and that is fine. However, you should have some common idea of the purpose of your story, which will help you to move it along.
Tips and Warnings
If you know everything about your back story, like character or place, it does not mean that your readers will also know this. Do not marsh your readers with every ordinary feature.
