The word face is associated with the basic ’sense organ’ compound, usually on the ‘ventral surface’ of the skull. Face depends on the description of the human case, such as hair forehead, philtrum, eye brow, eyes, teeth, cheeks, skin, mouth, lips, nose, chin and ear. The uses of face are appearance, uniqueness, and emergence. Face also has various senses including olfaction, vision, hearing, and taste.
The face is a feature that distinguishes a person, and there are ’special’ areas of the human brain, like ‘Fusiform Face Area’(FFA), which when damaged, protects the identification of the faces of close family members. The outlines of definite organs such as the eyes or parts thereof are employed in biometric classification to exceptionally recognize individuals.

By extension, everything which is forward or face world, part of the organ that has an interior complex is considered as ‘face’, such as, a public relations personel or press reporter may be considered as the ‘face’ of the organization, which they are representing. ‘Face’ is also associated with prestige or standing in the community, especially Chinese society and is stated as a resource that can be won or lost.

Things required:
- Craft knife
- Acetate
- Design printout
- Cutting mat
- Tape
Instructions:
- Select the designs which you would like to use for the stencils. You can look for the design on internet, or you can make them yourself. If you got the designs on internet, take a print out of that design in black ink on a sheet of paper.
- Try to keep your design simple and attractive and keep in mind that they should work around the children features.
- Keep a portion of acetate down on a self-healing cutting curtain.
- Keep the printout of your design or your sketching on top of the acetate.
- Tie the edges of both the printouts by using thread and the acetate to clutch them in position while you work.
- You can employ a sharp craft knife to start cutting out the areas of the design which are to be painted, keep the paper or acetate intact in positions, which are not allowed to be painted.
- Remove the thread or tape carefully and eliminate the print out from acetate sheet.
- You can repeat this process with more designs, as you want to.
