Pokemon has many characters and drawing them can be fun. Here are some simple and easy steps on how to draw pokemon characters.

Things Required:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Black ink pen
Steps:
- You can start by drawing Pikachu, since he is the most famous character in pokemon. Make an oval shape, which should be a little large at the bottom to make the head of Pikachu. Make another oval shape but larger than the first one. In the head of Pikachu, you will have to make a cross or you can make a’t’ shape. This mark will help you later in drawing the eyes and mouth of Pikachu.
- Start making the guidelines for the ear by simply drawing some lines, which come off from the head. These lines should point towards the right side and have a few uneven angles. Now, you will have to add the arms with a ‘v’ shape, which comes out of the body. At every ‘v’ shape, you will have to flatten the end. Make the tail of Pikachu with a thunderbolt kind of shape with twisted lines. Make small feet that have long circles and are placed under the body.
- Now, you can use the guidelines of the face, which you had made earlier. On the cross of the’t’ make two small circles; this will be the shape of the eye. On the center point of the cross, make an oval shape and this will be the nose. At the end of the cross, you will have to make a triangle-shaped oval for the mouth of Pikachu. Now, make two small circles on either side of the face for the shape of cheeks.
- The ear guidelines can be completed by adding ‘L’ shapes on both the sides. The tail should be done by adding a similar shape of thunderbolt on the other side, and then attach it together. Make three tiny triangles for the fingers on both the hands. Inside the shape of the foot, make three triangles pointers and erase the remaining semi-circle. This will form the feet of Pikachu.
- Once you have completed the drawing, then you can erase all the guidelines. Add the final touch to your drawing. Make a small curve, inside the mouth of Pikachu for the shape of the tongue.
- Darken all the important features in this drawing like the nose, ears, eyes, hands and feet. You can use a marker for the same and erase the pencil lines once the ink is completely dry. If you like, you can add colors to Pikachu.
Tips and Warnings:
- If there is uneven positioning of the limbs or any other body part, then this will spoil your complete drawing. Make sure that you wait for sometime for the ink to dry completely, before you erase any of the pencil lines. If you erase it before the ink is dry, then this will leave smudge marks on your drawing.
