The Powerpuff girls are the famous American animated cartoon series. Powerpuff girls are three kindergarten girls with some special powers. The famous animator Craig McCracken created the cartoon, and Hanna Barbera produced this show. This show was also nominated five times at the Emmy awards under the category of ‘Outstanding Achievement in Animation’. The entire story of Powerpuff girls revolves around three girls Blossoms, Bubbles and Buttercup. In this story professor Utonium wants to make perfect little girls by using nice ingredients like spice, sugar and everything nice. However, he accidentally adds chemical X in this mixture, which creates these three girls with super powers.
These three little girls live in Townsville and protect that town from all the evil happening like robberies, villains and giant monsters. All the three girls are different in nature and have different characteristics, distinct from one another like:
- Blossom: she is the smartest one of all and is the self-proclaimed leader of this group. Her color in pink and she has red hair with a big red bow.
- Bubbles: Bubbles is the cutest of all. Her favorite color is light blue, with short blonde hair and two piglets. Bubbles has a best friend, which is a stuffed animal known as ‘octi’.
- Buttercup: she is the toughest of all and her favorite color is green. She has short blunt black hair. She plays the character of a tomboy with a bad temper.

- Make an oval shape; this will be the head of your Powerpuff girl. Make sure that you make a wide oval rather than a tall one. Draw two ovals for the eyes of Powerpuff girl. Each oval shape should start along the side of their head, where you will be drawing the ears. Near the center of the head, every oval should be tilted upwards.
- Make irises for your Powerpuff girls. The irises are the only colored part in the eye. To make the iris, you will have to make two curved lines on every eye. The curved portion of the line should be pointing towards the outside of the head, where the ears will be. Repeat this entire process for the other eye.
- Start highlighting the eyes; all the Powerpuff girls have a white portion in their eyes. Make a small circle in both the eyes. Now, you draw the mouth of your character. You will have to make a taller U and draw it in the middle of the eyes.
- Start sketching the body of your Powerpuff girl. Always remember that the body shape of Powerpuff girl is like a ‘W’, and in the same height as the head. Add stripes to the dress of Powerpuff girl.
- Finish your drawing by adding arms, which is of a teardrop shape on both the sides of the body.
- Now, you can make any of the Powerpuff girls. If you want to draw Blossoms, then make a big bow on her head. The bow is of ‘M’ shape and she has some bangs on her forehead. Color Blossoms with pink color.
- Bubbles has two curved lines at the center of her head, which extends up to her ears. Make two small teardrop shapes for her piglets. Color Bubbles in blue.
- Buttercup has straight hair with a straight line on her forehead. Color her clothes and eyes in green color.
