Jirachi is a tiny Pokémon. He has short legs, and arms which looks like Jirachi is wearing a long sleeve shirt. The short legs of this character makes it float in the air most of the times, instead of walking. Jirachi has a third eye on his stomach that it hardly uses. The special quality of Jirachi is to grant wishes, which happens only once in 1000 years. Jirachi is the only Pokémon to learn Doom Desire, which can cause a light rain from the heavens to cause a lot of damage, it one of the most powerful powers.
Jirachi first appeared in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. Jirachi has the abilities of telepathy and telekinesis. It usually hibernates for nearly 1000 years in a cocoon, which is crystalline. If ever Jirachi is attacked, it will face the attacker with all the power, but never wake up from the cocoon. After 1000 years are over, Jirachi wakes up from sleep only for a week if you sing in a very sweet voice. Within this one week it can fulfill wishes, if a message appears on Jirachi head that wish is granted. Once it fulfills its master’s wish, it goes back into hibernation, in a new cocoon, for another 1000 years waiting for the next wish.
Jirachi was featured in the sixth movie of Pokémon: Jirachi Wishmaster. Jirachi also appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a Pokémon who is comes from a Poke ball.
Jirachi is available in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. Follow these simple steps and get your own emerald Jirachi.
Steps:
- Take the bonus disc of Pokémon Colosseum, insert it into the game cube, and switch on the system.
- Go to the main menu and select Jirachi special gift in the Pokémon Colosseum section. Now take the Pokémon Emerald game cartridge and insert it in your Game Boy when asked.
- Now put one end of the game cube into the extension port of Game Boy. Place the other side in the controller port of the game cube.
- Switch on the Game Boy Advance. Jirachi will be automatically downloaded to your cartridge of Pokémon Emerald.
- Disconnect the Game Boy from the game cube when asked. When you have finished following the above steps, you will have your own Emerald Jirachi.
Jirachi in Ruby Version:
- You will get a bonus disc with Pokémon Colosseum. One sure way to catch Jirachi is to use the bonus disc in Nintendo or Game Boy. You can also find the used copies of this bonus disc in the nearby stores.
- When you start the disc, it will have a short preview of the Jirachi Wish Maker movie. Once the preview is over directly, go to step three.
- Now place the game cartridge of ruby on the game cube and start the game. Connect your Game Boy to game cube you will have to use the link cable for it. After this, connect the Game Boy to the running game of Pokémon Ruby to your game cube.
- After this step, you will have Jirachi on Pokémon ruby.
Tips:
- The bonus disc of Pokémon Colosseum comes along with the ordered copy of the game Pokémon Colosseum. If you do not get the disc, then you can look for it on eBay or in some good gaming stores online or in your locality.
