Manaphy is a famous water type Pokémon. Manaphy has the extraordinary ability to breed, even if the offspring is a Phione. Manaphy is one of the last Pokémon before the Platinum expansion in Pokédox. It is a small, aquatic and blue in color. Manaphy has short feet and arms longer than its body. It has a red gem attached to its chest. Manaphy has a long head with two blue antennas on it. Nearly 80% of Manaphy’s body is made out of water. As a result of this Manaphy usually reproduces in an ocean, which is warm than their native, the child is a Phione different form other Manaphy.

Manaphy is a very difficult Pokémon to catch. Here are some steps that will help you to get a Manaphy.
Things Required:
- 2 Nintendo DS
- 1 Pokémon Ranger
- 1 Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum
Steps:
- Take your game Pokémon Ranger and switch it on. You will have to complete the continue missions in Pokémon Ranger. As soon as you finish it, you will have a new feature on your title screen, which says Ranger Net.
- Now hold the R button, the X button and the left button on the D-Pad. Immediately an option Enter the Password will appear on the screen, under Select a Mission. Click on that option.
- On the screen, where it says password, type Mg35-Cpb8-4FW8. After you enter the password, on your select mission screen, there will be a new mission ‘Rescue the Precious Egg’. Accept that mission.
- Once you finish Rescue the Precious Egg mission, check the egg, and it will replace the password on the Ranger Net menu. Once you are prepared, put Diamond or Pearl in the second DS. Switch it on, and go to the main menu and select continue, new game.
- In the Ranger, click on Check the Egg and tap the screen after that. Later, click on Send the Message and now keep the 2 DS across from one another. In Diamond or Pearl, a new screen will come up. From there on follow all the instructions that are provided to you.
- Congratulations, you have the Manaphy Egg in Diamond or Pearl. Now you can go to any PokéMart in the region of Sinnoh, and talk to a man in green. He will hand over you the egg, if you have an open place in your party. Now, you will have to walk exactly 2,540 steps and after these steps, the egg will hatch. You will have your very own Manaphy.
Tips:
- Do not switch off the Pokémon Ranger in between of the sending the egg process. If you do so, you will not get an egg, and Pokémon Ranger will lose the ability to send or view the egg you had.
