Heatran is a dual type Pokemon, a Fire and Steellegendary Pokemon. Heatran has not evolved from any other Pokemon. It looks like a tortoise and has a body, which is reddish-brown in color with orange and grey spots all over. Heatran has some metal bangles locked on his legs, four claws on each feet with a cross formation.
The underside of Heatran is grey in color, it has red-orange eyes, and its face is covered with an iron mask. Whenever Heatran opens its mouth, it gives an orange glow from the inside. Since Heatran has a lot of body heat, some of the body shapes of this Pokemon are melted.
Heatran can dig large and deep holes with the help of its cross-shaped claws. Their feet enable them to stick to particular surfaces, which allow them to climb or hang from ceilings or walls. The attack from of Heatran is fire type like Flamethrower and Fire Fang, but it also knows some moves of steel type such as Flash Cannon and Iron Head.
It can also use other attack types like Ground and Rock-type, like Stone Edge, Earthquake, Ancient Power and Earth Power. Heatran is the only from of Pokemon that knows Magna Storm.
Heatrans are known as the violent guardians. It is believed that without Heatran’s power of Magna Storm, it can run amok and cause the Stark Mountain to erupt. They usually live in the volcano craters, mostly in Giant Volcano and Stark Mountain.
The debut of Heatran was made in Arceus and the Jewel of Life. Heatran was the most powerful opponent, and was later freed by Pikach, when it chooses not to fight with Marcus. Heatran appeared in Movie 12 Magna Adoption. Heatran is one of the Pokemon who is under the control of Marcus, with Bronzong. Another movie in which Heatran appeared is the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!
Here are a few simple steps on how to catch Heatran.
Things Required:
- Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DS
- One copy of Pokemon platinum
- Pokemon level of 40 or higher
Steps:
- Before capturing Heatran make sure that you have the Strength and Rock Smash Pokemon.
- Now go towards the Stark Mountain, there you will have to look for a tunnel, which is guarded by a Team Galactic Goon. You will have to beat him and enter the cave.
- After this, you will have to be prepared for an encounter with 25 wild Pokemon. Most of the Pokemon will be Flying, Rock and Fire or Ground type.
- Learn all the powers of Heatran well in advance. He has powers like Fire Blast, Hyper Beam, Earthquake and Earth Power. His moves will differ according to when you encounter Heatran and the level of your Pokemon.
Tips and Warnings:
- Stock up on all the healing items like revives and potions. You will require them.
- It is necessary for you to bring at least one fire Pokemon.
- Do not play games for a longer duration.
