Shaymin is a famous grass type Pokemon. It was officially released only after February 2008, when Shaymin was the star of the ‘Giratina and the Sky Warrior’. It was released again in June 2008, as the flying type Shaymin. This is the only Pokemon, which has not evolved from some another Pokemon.
Shaymin is a tiny, hedgehog creature with a white colored body. The back of Shaymin has green fur, with pink flowers and two leaves on the side of its head. This pattern is very similar to Gracidea flower. It has short legs with a plump inner side. Shaymin is the smallest famous Pokemon till date. The first description and pictures of Shaymin were published in CoroCoro Magazine in Japan.
Shaymin has two basic forms:
- Land Forme: This form was first originally seen in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
- Sky Forme: The debut of this form was in Giratina and the Sky Warrior.
Shaymin has the ability to change its form if it touches the flower Gracidea. Shaymin cannot be in the sky form if it has any contact with ice, or in the night. This characters sky forme has the appearance of a reindeer. The fur on its back shifts to a Mohawk style, when it is sky forme. The special ability of Shaymin is, it can purify any polluted area, and change it into a field of flowers. It takes in polluted air and release purified air in an explosive burst. This is known as Seed Flare and is also its signature move.
Shaymin has a regular feature called Flower Bearing. Every season, Shaymin gathers itself in a field of flower and migrates from there. This nature of Shaymin is called Flower Carrying because a flower garden grows every time they land somewhere. Shaymin is said to have a split personality; in land forme it is very timid and frightened, and in the sky forme it is very playful and brave.
In the debut movie ‘Giratina and the Sky Warrior’, Shaymin was escaping from Giratina, after infuriating it in the Reverse World. Shaymin had a feeling that Giratina was going to eat him up. This was the only movie, where Shaymin was seen in both its forms. It also made a short appearance in ‘Arceus and the Jewel of Life’s’, where it is seen standing and gazing on the land.
Here are some steps that will help you in getting Shaymin.

Steps:
- At the beginning, go to the victory road. Look for a exist tunnel that will take you to the right side.
- Keep on traveling that same path until you get or reach Shaymin. It is a very weak, so you will have to go easy. You can also use a walk through walls cheat. You will have to go to a silver rock on victory road. Keep going straight and you will see the first Shaymin, but it is only an illusion. You will have use a bike and go ahead of the flowers, and there you will see the real Shaymin.

Tips and Warnings:
- If you do have the action replay, use walk through the walls cheat. You will have to go to the league and walk to the side. You might also have to walk through a lot of water, but it is easy. Save the game before you begin the battle.
- There is also one problem, if you use the action replay there are chances you can get lost. It is better not to cheat.
- If you use the cheat such as action replay, there are chances of data corruption or it can also lead your Nintendo DS to freeze.
