A ceiling fan is an appliance, which is balanced from the ceiling, and uses “hub-mounted” revolving paddles to move air. The first ceiling fan was invented in United State, in the year 1870, at that stage ceiling fans weren’t motorized by any electric coast.   Instead, a brook of watercourse water was used, in combination with a “turbine”, to compel a system of belts that would rotate the blades of two-blade fan units.

Things required:

• Remove the Old Fixture
• Mounting brackets
• Screwdrivers
• Ceiling Fan

Instructions:

• First of all select the ceiling fan to install.

• Switch off the power from the key electrical box for the fixture where you plann to work. This can be examined by spinning the switch of the wall or by using a circuit tester on the light fixture itself.

• Take away the increasing bolts and remove the old light fixture. You can make fixture much easier by taking away the entire light bulbs, glass globes or glass covers.

• Cut off the electrical wires. In few cases there will only be two powers, generally black or blue in color, and neutral, white in color.  Sometimes they have three, black and white, plus a ground wire, basically green in color or an exposed copper wire.

• You can keep the electric wire nuts which you will discover holding the wire together, it can be recycled.

• Investigate the electrical box carefully when the previous fixture is out of the way. Confirm that it is anchored strongly to a roof beam or other structural hold up of the ceiling. The fan is quite heavy and requires a rigid mounting point.

Mounting the Fan

• Connect the mounting range to the electrical box. Confirm that the screws are of good quality and tight, make the connections free somewhere other than where specified by the manufacturer; it can make the fan vibrate and cause surplus noise.

• Employ the “working hook” that is generally given on the mounting range to suspend the fan on as you hook up the wiring.

• Connect the wires by subsequent the basic color coding system, white to white, black or blue to black or blue, green or exposed copper.

• The “ground wire” of the house circuit should be connected directly to the intersection box. Release the screw, bind the ground wire around and then stiffen the screw to clutch the ground wires. Wrap the electric connections, “white and black wires” by using a strong screwed-on wire nut.

• Put the entire spare wiring out of the way by approaching it up into the electrical box.

• Connect the fan motor with the “mounting set” by using the provided screws. Switch on the electricity back on and confirm the connections are of high-quality, keep in mind to include both the “wall switch” and the “pull-cord switch” on the “On” spot of the fan.

• Switch off the power and place on the attractive motor cover.

• Connect the each fan blade in their mounting sets.
