Google toolbar is a browser toolbar, which is only available for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Google toolbar is right above the browser tab bar, and it provides a small search box, which helps in carrying out web searches.
The users can login in the Gmail account, and can access their mails, and they can also access the saved bookmarks and the web history easily. It has various tools such as Autofill, Autolink, translation, spell checker etc.
However, it does not have the pop-up blocker and the word finder, as it is restricted only to Internet Explorer. On September 23, 2009, Google Sidewiki was launched. The Sidewiki enables the user to view comments made by various other users of Google Toolbar, which is made on the website.
A user can also give comments for a particular page on Google. The advantage is that the users can give essential information and feedback on any page, which is not clear to a new user. If the users want, they can also discuss the content of any page. The Google Toolbar cannot track the surfing activities of the user on its own, until some of the advanced features like PageRank are enabled by the user. It is also unable to track the anonymous statistics that are helpful in revealing information. Uninstalling a Google Toolbar is very easy. Here are some simple steps to remove Google Toolbar.
