Any liquid or mastic composition which on application in a thin layer converts to an opaque solid film can be termed as paint. Paint is a fluid, easily soluble product, if applied in a slight coat, turns into a thick firm layer. In ancient times, Homo sapiens used charcoal, yellow and red ochre for cave paintings. The famous paintings at the Denerdra walls IN Egypt, display a perfect combination of color, in spite of being out in the open, it still looks the same as it was 2000 years ago.
The people of Egypt used to mix the color with a gluey material, this gluey substance used to prevent dripping or bleeding of paint. They only had six different types of color like red, green, white, blue, yellow and black. Initially they got the entire ground covered in white color, then they would artistically make the design with black color, they used the red color to minimal.
In the town of Ardea, there are many ceilings with beautiful paintings, these paintings were made a day before Rome was founded. All the paintings are as good as new, even after such a long time. The paint was made with the help of egg yolk and hence, it would fuse with the surface. The color red in paint was made with animal blood. Various other pigments required were taken from sand, plants and soils.
The drying oil paints, linseed oil were the common types of paint, and they are used since Renaissance times. Oil paint is the most popular variety used until today. The watercolors, acrylic paints have become popular in the 20th century. In the 19th century milk paint also known as casein, was used as natural paint. Egg yolk mixed with oil was used until today as wax based paint.

There are nearly 150 hazardous paints available, which can cause kidney damage, cancer or liver failure. The toxics that are emitted by the paints continue to take place, even after it is dry. These toxins come out from a source called VOC they are used in paints on a very extensive level. The non-toxic paint is safer than the standard paint; the non-toxic paints do not have many harmful compounds. The environment is also affected on some level, VOC has compounds which HELP IN the depletion of the ozone layer. This VOC is the next most dangerous pollution source for environment.
Remove paint from cloths:
- If the cloths have dried latex paint then spray dried latex paint with hair spray.
- Rub the dried paint with your fingernail or you can use another rag to rub it.
- Keep rubbing the dried paint until it starts loosening up.
- After that wash it as usual.
Remove paint from carpet:
- First of all you will have to remove the wet paint as much as you can by absorbent cloth, by blotting with a clean cloth. Avoid spreading the stains.
- You can sponge it with cold water and blot again. Keep doing it until you have removed good amount of paint.
- Put a spoon of dishwashing detergent or soap in a bowl of lukewarm water.
- Blot with the detergent solution by using clean cloth, from the outside in.
- Keep the affected area under sun or vacuum place and let it dry completely.
Remove paint from hand.
- Rub vegetable shortening into your palms; let the shortening dry for 4to 5 minutes.
- After that Wash your hand with toilet soap and water.
- You can also use chicken fat to remove paint. Rub chicken fat into your hand and let it dry for 5 minutes and then wash it as usual.
- Mix thick olive oil over your palm after then put some sprinkle sugar into it. Rub it together to scrub the paint off from your hand. Then wash it with toilet soap and water.
- Put 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil and add 2 tablespoon of dish washing soap and put it into your hand and rub it hardly to remove paint.
