We need to protect it from any further damage by doing little things to stop causing more pollution and reduce stress on the already depleting natural resources. Here are a few steps that will guide you in protecting the earth:
Water
- Be careful about how much water you use and in what way. This simple thing can make a lot of difference in saving the already scarce water.
- Always keep the taps closed while brushing your teeth and shaving. Use a bucket instead of shower for taking bath to save water.
- If you have any taps that are leaking or a leaky toilet, get it repaired as soon as you can. A leaky tap or toilet can result in a lot of water wastage.
- Use your washing machines only at top load and try to use cold or room temperature water instead of hot water as this will also save electricity.
- Drink tap water or water from a purifier instead of bottled water. This will also help you to prevent wastage of all the plastic that bottles are made of.
